A diary of my birding activity covering highlights and photos from my birding adventures. Mainly Norfolk (UK), occasionally beyond. I might mention the odd thing that isn't avian, but for moth and other insect news check out my mothing diary.

Peregrine and Kites on the way to work

An eventful journey in to work this morning as a Peregrine powered over the A149 near Sculthorpe and then 2 Red Kites were hanging low over the road at Syderstone Common (after some roadkill I think).

It was still a bit light when I left work so I popped in to the patch on the way home.  The sun had been down for a while so not much birdable time left - all I could rake up was a flock of 136 Fieldfares.
